I’m Pratyush Kerhalkar, a computer science professional currently pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science at Arizona State University. I have honed my skills across various domains, including Data Engineering, Backend Development, and Deep Learning.
Professional Journey
I began my career as a Consultant in AI&Data at Deloitte, where I architected and deployed scalable data pipelines and frameworks, ensuring data consistency and efficiency across multiple platforms. My work included building transformer-based models for natural language processing and optimizing workflows to enhance team productivity. My contributions were recognized with multiple awards for excellence in delivering high-impact solutions.
Prior to that, I gained valuable experience as an R&D Student at Samsung Research Institute Bangalore, where I developed NLP based low-latency microservices to detect target devices for Samsung Bixby.
Technical Expertise
My technical arsenal includes a strong command of programming languages like Python, and Java alongside expertise in technologies such as Postgres, Springboot, FastAPI, and PySpark. I have a deep understanding of backend development, microservices, and cloud computing, with hands-on experience in tools like Docker, Apache Zookeeper, and AWS services.

I am passionate about building innovative solutions to complex problems. Some of my notable projects include Arxiv Sanity XL, a distributed search engine for research papers, and CodETL, a platform-agnostic ETL engine that optimized data transformation processes.
